Intel's 2018 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Interactive Demonstration
GOAL: Build an interactive experience that highlights Intel and Mobileye technology for autonomous driving. Embed and light up this cutting edge technology within a life-size transparent car.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Computer model (Rhino) a life-size car made of slices of clear acrylic, including hardware and structure. Collaborate with fellow designer working in 3ds Max.
Develop the construction method and timeline with fab team, electrical engineer, designers, and project manager.
Prep CAD car “slices” for lasercutting. Precision place hundreds of individual screw holes so design physically holds together and still looks stylish.
Research and prototype construction methods and lighting techniques
Work with electrical engineers and shop specialists to ensure efficient and aesthetic construction and design.
Illustrator and Photoshop visualization for clients
Assist in fabrication
